The weather is better!

Tall People by TDH

I think we might be getting into summer here in Calgary finally. It was in the upper 20s yesterday. It was really nice. Yesterday was also a busy day. I'm not sure how many installs the office did but I got 4. It was good to catch up for the last couple of slow days. I anticipate more busy days for the rest of summer. That would put me ahead of my goal of 250 and closer to the 270 mark that would be nice to hit. We started out with 15 techs and now we are down to 7 or 8. The office here has some pretty cool people in it. We don't really hang out with the sales reps but the techs stay close. Every Sunday we go to Richard and Jill's (the lead tech and his wife) to eat dinner, do laundry and hang out. Trevor bought a "slack line" which is a piece of tubular webbing with some climbing carabiners in the ends and tightened between two trees. The object is to first balance on it then walk across then in the future be able to do tricks. On youtube you can find crazy people doing flips on these things.

At least we have a day a week to hang out and relax. We try not to think about work on Sunday but our conversations usually end up talking all about work some how. I guess that's good though. Staying focused is key. Everyday I think to myself 'why am I here' and 'who am I doing this for' and I think of Jordan Paige and it makes me work harder and longer everyday. I am looking forward to the end of summer when I can look back and say, "That was a good thing to do". Oh and I almost forgot. Jordan Paige is coming to visit me!!! The first part of August for two weeks. I am so excited!!! Well That's it for now.
